Just got back from Mainland tonight! We arrived just in time for the new swell, it was double overhead + and firing! Then it got huge so I rode my 7’0” pin tail and surfed pretty well but the board was so gunny that it was pretty hard to do snaps. So the next morning when it was big I said fxxx it, and paddled out on my new 6’3” Hovie and never rode anything else! It was so fast & maneuverable pure magic. It got kinda crowded so I went and sat deep like we do at 56th and pretty much got any wave I wanted! I had to do a bunch of air drops cuz the board was only 6’3” but I made everyone of them and would do a big bottom turn race through the pocket then get a few otl’s & cutbacks as I finished the wave off! Anyway just to let you know the board fxxxxxx ripped! Easy 12-15 faces with a ton of power on the new 6’3” DT2005 model with the H2 Fins! I can’t wait to try it out in my home break 56th!!! I really needed a 6-6 or 6-8 but now I know what to bring there! Good Job and thanks for making it for me.
